Background

Jonathan William, a 21 year old missionary, came to Chernarus to help with relief efforts when the first wave of peace keepers entered the country. His mission, along with the other 9 who came with him, was to help provide stability to the families of the now War Torn country, sharing the love of Christ as well as teaching how to survive with little to nothing. On the 10th, the group began assisting in moving wounded and infected people to the hospital in Severograd. Setting up temp medical tents, fetching supplies, and providing prayer for the sick and dying. The next morning; Jonathan awoke to the cries, gun fire, and the shrieks of the ones who hungered for human flesh. Grabbing what little he had, Jonathan began to help people flee to the south. Convincing people to leave things behind and run as fast as they could. In the chaos, he lost his fellow missionaries...never to be seen among the living again. Johnathan, now alone continued the Lord's work in providing support in anyway he could. He assisted in helping people board the boats that fled away from the soon over run city. Unable to get on a boat himself, he fled into the woods, surviving off of what knowledge he had; he didn't dare go to the city, hearing the constant fly by after fly by of aircraft dropping bombs onto the grounds bellow in order to help quell the infected...finally once the pass finished, and nothing but the sound of crackling fire in the distance was present; Jonathan began to venture into the abandoned towns he once promised peace too. Only one thought crossed his mind. "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." -Psalm 23: 4-6
