Background

The character I would like to role play in DayZRP would be an old farmer called Josh Martins who is in his early sixties. Before the outbreak he had a beautifull farm with a big land and several animals. He had a lovely woman and a beautiful daughter. A few weeks after the outbreak, in a hot summer night, a herd of about 50 zombies crossed his farm. The family came to the attention of the herd, because they heard the animals panicing in the barn. The whole family ran out of their house, equiped with oil lamps and pitchforks, trying to defend their home and their animals against the herd. But in the heat of the moment the woman knocked over the lamp while she was in the barn. The lamp lit up the hay and the barn went up in flames. The woman despertely tried to shoo the animals out of the barn, before bringing herself into safety. But the flames grew bigger and bigger until she could not escape any more. The farmer and his daughter had to watch their loved mum and wife burning to death on their own farm. Meanwhile the herd had almost made it to the house, even though the farmer and his daughter could kill some of the zombies. But they had no other opportunity than to leave their farm behind and flee from the herd. A few days later, the daughter passed away because of her injures from the fight. Now Josh has lost everything, but he did not want to give up his life becasue of that herd. He has always been a survivor, and knew how to take care of himself. So he moved on, over lands and through forests, until he suddenly reached Chernarus. Here he tries to find some sign of life, maybe other survivors who went through something similar like him...
