Ryan was a very adventurous and cautious man for as long as he could remember. He lived in Missouri for almost his entire life, seeing as he was born in Montana and moved at 3 months of age. After graduating high school, he didn't have much in terms of goals or ambition until he met his girlfriend Rosa. She captured me entirely, giving me something I hadn't had in a very long time. Happiness, security, passion. She taught me how to live again, how to find a direction in life that I wasn't able to do myself. We'd fallen in love after two and a half years of dating when I asked her to marry me. She had then decided that it was time that I visit her home country of Chernarus. I decided this was worth doing, as she was the love of my life and it was common practice to met her family and let them know who had captured her heart and to finally meet me. We boarded the plane together in excitement as this was real to us, we were finally getting married and I was finally going to meet her family whom I know very little about. Her father's name was Nicholai and her mothers name was Dannica, that is all I knew about them. That and they lived in South Zogoria in Chernarus. Shortly after we had landed in Chernarus we had decided to take a rental vehicle from the civilian airport to her home town, but before that we had decided we were going to make this a vacation. She was going to show me her home land and give me more history behind it and the culture. We didn't really believe in electronics nor any time of cell phone, so we were pretty shocked at what we witnessed after two weeks of camping near Novodmitrovsk in the beautiful woodlands near it. The city was ravaged and in terrible shape. People that weren't really people walking the streets, shops totally emptied of any supplies, and chaos. We decided it best to grab to search for some supplies as we were going to need it for the trip to her family. We had no idea of their condition and it was important that we hurry to get there as fast as possible. We decided to check a nearby grocery store for food as that seemed to be the best idea, when something unexpected and life changing happened. My fiance Rosa, was shot by a looter we had not seen. I managed to pick her up and run as far as I could away from the building. Her breathing was getting shallow and I could tell she was losing way too much blood. I had no medical experience, I was completely clueless on what to do other than cover her wound with pressure. I started to cry when the realization hit me, that my beautiful Rosa was going to die in hands. I started to sob as I didn't know what to do, I was out of control of the situation. She was smiling at me, after going through all that. She was smiling. She could hardly talk, as her lungs were filling with blood. But I could tell she needed to tell me something. Holding my fiance, sobbing and pleading for her not to die, she made me promise her something. The wish of a dying women. She told me that I needed to find her family, to tell them what had happened here today and how I made her happy as she had done for me in these two and a half years. To share with them the memory's we had made together. After giving her a proper burial and marking her grave, I decided that, that was what I needed to do. I needed to honor her promise and find her family.
