Background

Prior to the apocalypse, Vincent was a librarian. Today he wanders the world as a historian, cataloging the events around him, hoping that some day society will rise from the ashes, and that future generations might learn from the histories that V recorded. He tries to remain neutral to the conflicts that he witnesses, merely recording, rather than influencing events. He catalogs what he witnesses in journals, and buries them near statues and monuments hoping that some day they'll be recovered and studied.
Additionally, he attempts to gather and preserve documents that he believes will be importation to future generations. He has committed much of it to memory. This includes numerous medical and scientific books, which he has learned much from over the years.

He was captured by slavers a year ago, and spent nine months months aboard their ship which wrecked on the coast of an unknown land. He woke up on the shore, disoriented.

He's witnessed countless atrocities. He's documented all that he can... But, he doesn't know how long he can continue like this. But maybe this new land holds promise.
