Robert served in the British SAS for 10 years in 3 continents before transferring to The Black Watch. He continued to keep the peace in the homeland while training other soliders with what he had learned from his long military career. After retiring he settled in his hometown of Endinburgh. Life was peaceful & quiet up until one day when he awoke on a morning that didn't seem out of the ordinary. Robert started his moring routine, workout, breakfast then the grocery store. That's where he first encoutered the infection. There was one man in the aisle acting real strange, he kept his eyes real close on him, next thing he knew he was rushed by multiple people that seemed more like rabbit dogs than humans. Robert fled the store only to find the city out of control, chaos everywhere. He made his way quickly to his apartment, grabbed his uniform and firearms from his safe and made his way in his car to The Black Watch HQ as he could tell the first thing he had to do was get out of there asap. The place was in bad shape, only a few soliders were left at the gates aggressively guarding. He stopped at a distance and shouted to explain who he was as they were not looking to let anyone in. To his luck, one of his former squad mates recognized him and gave the signal to open the gates. Robert and his old comrade made their way inside and sat down in their old offices to discuss & plan their next moves. Shit hit the fan real quick as the base was swarmed with infected. They fought and made their way to the airstrip to board a small aircraft with a pilot they saved from the infected along the way. With no real sense of direction and all their instruments acting up, they took off and flew in a blind direction. After 6 hours up high in the sky they were hit by a projectile, the engines were down, the pilot was knocked out by the kick, Robert was wounded by shrapnel and Robert's squad mate was trapped under a large wooden crate that had fallen from the storage up top. He insisted their wasn't time to save him and that Robert had to leave, so Robert grabbed a parachute, said his goodbyes and leapt out into the open air. As he glided down to the ground he scanned the area, all he could tell is that he was no longer in the West. He watched as the plane plummeted down and crashed in a distant woodland area. Now, with no idea where he is or if his mate or pilot are alive. Robert will have to attempt to make his way to the crash site to search for survivors and patch up his wounds from the hit on the plane. Who knows what he will come across and what will happen along the path there in this strange land.. he will also have to find out why and what hit the plane.
After finding the crash site, unfortunately both were deceased. Robb grabbed what he could and patched himself up. He now continues his journey with his squad that he's gathered over his two years here.
Robb has begun setting up a safe haven for survivors with 3 other trusted leaders in the north.
After setting up in Severograd for many months with other survivors Robb met his end at the hands of his own people. He had earned his way to a high ranking commander within his group through many difficulties and sacrafices but in the end certain notorious members refused to fall in line. One ended up shot dead by Robb after disobeying orders for the last time, the others shot him in the back.
