Killian Graves, son of Sascha Graves, who was the owner of the largest private military in South Africa, Praetorian Security. As a boy, Graves never saw much of his father, he was shunned by him, for his father only saw him as the reason his mother died during childbirth, that and he was consumed by his work. Killian grew up wealthy, which in South Africa makes you a target, for his protection he was assigned a guard to be with him at all hours. He was assigned Takeshi, a Japanese immigrant and Sascha’s former right hand. Takeshi and Killian became very close, almost like father, and, when he wasn't in school, he was with her learning from him everything he knew, making Killian very formidable in the field.
When Killian was 19, his father was killed when his helicopter was shot down in an assasination over Egypt, as Killian was the only son and heir to his fathers fortune, he took on running the company. He found he was good at it, but the day to day life of a business man bored him, so he would often run operations with his carefully hand picked team, the November Squad.
Before the outbreak hit, he and his team were running a mission in Sevastopol, Crimea, just across the black sea from the small country of Chernarus. While running a night mission in Sevastopol to install a regime loyal to his clients, while deep in a cave system, where the regime was based, his team was attacked by possessed men, who would not flinch or yield, despite the killing blows delivered. They attempted contact with the base of operations, but due to being in the caves for days, had no contact with the outside. What remained of his team fled back to the forward operations outpost, where a grisly sight awaited them. Hundreds killed and torn to shreds, the ones that weren't completely torn apart, appeared dead, but were still lucid and shambling. They fled to a nearby UH-1y helicopter to attempt to flee, the noise of the turbines caught the attention of the numerous undead, and they were beset upon. Barely getting airborne before being completely overrun, he was down to the last 3 men that he knew of, radios were silent. They flew to the nearby Chernarus to refuel, but Chernarus was no better off, between their injuries and fuel running low, they crashed in the black mountains, Killian was the only survivor of the crash, he fled to the nearest city, where he has been surviving since.
