Born into a broken family, Connor Fooly was raised in the bustling city of New York by his his father. Gregor Fooly was a hard working man with a very respectable job as a fast food restaurant manager, previously married to his paramedic wife Sarah. The two were brought together by a perfect series of events. If it wasn't for Sarah not having her morning muffin, or the usual cashier at the local McDonalds calling out sick, the two never would have met.

Cut to two years later, Connor was born. For the first few years his mother was present, but it soon became apparently that Gregor and Sarah had different aspirations in life. Work began to pull Sarah in a different direction, and unlike her husband, she was not happy with their simple life in New York. And so they split up when Connor was only a few years old, although they would keep in touch sporadically.

The majority of Connor's life was fairly uninteresting, consisting of a relatively comfortable life in one of the cheaper neighborhoods of the city. By all accounts, it seemed like his life was leading him down a similar path like his father's. A quiet life that would amount to very little. Until rumors of danger in the east reached the US.

Seeking to actually change the world for the better, Connor joined his mother for humanitarian efforts in Europe. They did what they could to ease the suffering of all they came across, but by the time the truth of what was happening reached them it was too late. They were trapped on a foreign continent with society quickly collapsing around them.

Their only hope was rumors of UN forces operating further east, but along the way Sarah and Connor were separated. To this day he has no idea where she has ended up, only the hope that she will stick with the plan. Get east. Get help. Get home.
