Perry was always a good natured youth. He lived in relative ease, never truly wanting for anything. Of course until the pandemic. Watching his wife turn; then his son; Perry lost his heart. He had to burn his house down. He severed his ties to everything. What's left of his family believes him dead, And he might as well be.
Before and during the pandemic Perry worked as a paramedic helping others was his passion. Standing at the front lines of the virus he was intermittently exposed to the infected. While truly terrified he had purpose and pushed forward daily just to save lives. Day by day seeing more of them filled him with dread, but he wouldn’t stop if he could save just one more person, the risk was worth it. Nothing though in any way prepared him for the pain of coming home to his home overrun and his family dying just out of his reach.
Perry now battles everyday to move forward. He still has an overwhelming drive to help in any way he can. But never again will he be caught unable to protect or defend those he cares for. Perry plans to find a clinic and put his paramedic training to use and if he can’t find a clinic he’ll make one himself.
