Lenny Modesto. Originally from Mexico, Lenny was born into a poor family with little to their name. He had to give away any of his savings to his parents for them to pay bills. He was used to the constant sound of his parents worrying. When he turned 18, he enlisted in the Mexican Armed Forces. He served under his Sergeant: MSG Pedro Aguirre. Pedro taught him many things during his military career. Pedro was like a father to Lenny, and when Lenny was on a patrol tour in Russia, Pedro was fatally wounded in a gunfight. Lenny tried to call over a medic to help Pedro, but his companies medics were not in the immediate area. Lenny had to carry Pedro back to base with enemy fire coming towards him. The rest of his squad retreated with him and provided covering fire. When he arrived, he was commended for his heroic actions on the battlefield and recieved a field promotion to PFC. Lenny's company was provided a new Sergeant to command them. This sergeant was strict and imprudent. On a patrol outside of their base, The sergeant lead them almost directly into enemy fire. It was a group of local rebels. Many of his squad mates were taken down. After a few minutes, the rebels stopped firing and ran in all directions, screaming. The new sergeant was curious why they were acting so weird, so he looked over the ledge he was taking cover behind. He came back down, in shock. He yelled: "¡Zombi!"(Zombie). The rest of his squad looked up, and to their horror, the sergeant wa sright. There was a horde of zombies chasing some of the local rebels. The sergeant said "Corren"(Run). Lenny and his squad split up, running in separate directions. After what seemed like an hour of running, Lenny took shelter in an abandoned house. After a month, he decided to look for his squad and anyone from the M.A.F. (Mexican Armed Forces), however, he was unsuccessful. Now, with a zombie-infested Chernarus, his goal is to find any people that can help him survive this new zombie threat.
