Daniel Levant

He is currently 26 years old, growing up in Texas his mother was kind and loved him, but his father was a drunken hateful man who spoke down to him and deemed him unworthy of anything life has to offer, Daniel began working any job he could find at the age of 14, simple things like dishes, mowing lawns, and walking dogs. During his school years he developed an interest in photography, specifically scenic views and nature, as these environments made him forget about the troubles of home. Home, the subject of his anxiety and worry, most children tirelessly wait to run home from school and to their healthy loving families, but Daniel lingered after hours whenever he could, he needed to be away... In 2009, when he turned 18, he decided to enlist in the army reserves, in secret hope that one day the call to duty would sweep him away from his current place in life and into a life of excitement, until then he would work a job at a journalism company to try and make ends meet and support his mother. Around 2017 during the increasing tension in Chernarus the reserves called, given his previous work experience with journalism and photography he was qualified to deploy as a war correspondent. Daniel heard about the bloody civil war that happened in 2009 and wanted to be no part of a second war, but he couldn't run now. After receiving basic weapons training, medical training, and support strategies, he was deployed to Chernarus with the task of reporting on the uprising tensions, and capturing images of the soldiers and the effects of the conflict on civilians of the country. He was more concerned with the effects this might take on himself.... and his mother. He arrived in Chernarus on the first NATO landing on the shores, upon his arrival he was briefed on the current situation of Chernarus and learned of the infection and the outbreaks, which were being kept from the public eye until the situation could be contained. It wouldn't be long before the riots started, then the bombings, and the plane crash in chernogorsk  as well as the cruise ship incident... NATO forces in Chernarus were thrown into disarray, soon the breakdown of global communications would follow, and the infection would spread to the other countries of the world. With no means of communication or transportation Daniel found himself stuck in a hostile country in the midst of the end of the modern world. Nothing matters now but survival, his mother and father could not be helped now nor could Daniel communicate to them, he had to focus on keeping himself alive until the day he could return home, a place he never thought he would miss so badly.
