Steve was born and raised in Litchfield Park, Arizona. Straight after graduating millennium highschool, he joined the US Army, like his brother, Mark, and his father, William before him. He attended basic training at Fort Benning, in Columbus, Georgia. He was assigned as a private 11B in Charlie Company, 41st infantry division. He served his first tour in Iraq, and earned an Army Achievement Medal for his heroic service during a firefight he was involved in. Upon completing his first tour Steve was awarded the rank Private First-Class, and was given the nickname Moxx. When the outbreak occured shortly after, Steve was assigned to a Nato Force Integration Unit, and deployed to Chernarus to aid refugees and to assist with riot control. When the riots got too much for the military to handle, Steve's company retreated the city of Chernogorsk. During the retreat, Steve was injured and lost contact with the other members of his unit. The city was overrun and Steve made his way north to Stary Sober, where he stayed. He couldn't find any remnants of his unit, and heard a rumor that his brother, Mark, was also stationed in Chernarus, near the airfield. He has been living in Stary and searching for his brother since losing contact with his company, working and helping where he can. Steve is cautious, perhaps a bit paranoid. He suffers from ptsd and depression since his first major firefight in Iraq where he witnessed much death, and since the outbreak he has witnessed much horror. He is quiet and tends to keep to himself, though he is very intelligent and stays calm during intense situations. He is observant and strong willed. Steve is honorable and honest, though he knows that in these times sometimes harsh action is what it takes. He is willing to do whatever it takes to survive in this new world he's found himself in.
