Robert was born in the suburbs of a major city on the east coast of the United States. His mother died when he was very young and his father never remarried. Growing up, he was a troublemaker and always did what he could to challenge authority when the opportunity arose. He got into drugs and was selling them around town earning a decent bit of cash and making a name for himself. He was an introvert and was always unpredictable with his movements and business dealings. After his father died, Robert went into a deep depression and came close to suicide. He got into harder drugs and developed a gambling addiction.
An old acquaintance noticed Robert’s downward spiral and was able to pull some strings and arrange a job for him as a truck driver at the security company he worked at. The company, United Security, was a private military contractor who provided armed security and transport in hostile war zones around the world. Robert was concerned about how dangerous the job sounded but after hearing how much the pay was, he quickly agreed. He received basic firearm training but was told he would most likely never have to fire a weapon since he was just a driver. He made quite a bit of money and was thinking about settling back in the States and leaving the PMC business. In 2017 he received his last mission where he was going to be escorting a VIP out of Chernarus and over the Russian border.
