Ronald Norton, commonly known as 'Ronnie' would seem to be your typical Cockney British male at first glance. A man with a love for alcohol, brawling and small-talk. He commonly adorned himself with a scruffy hat with matted hair beneath, followed by a rough goatee or general beard should he forget his monthly trim. The man is polite, yet a faint scent of mystery would be detected whenever he'd seem confronted. This man had it all back in the day. The gift of the gab and the respect of the people. One would say he was well known in his neighbourhood for being the gentle man he deems to be, however those who knew him well would find him notorious for his secret deeds.
Business is Business.
Ronnie was a businessman and always a man of friendly conversation to the public eye. From his childhood to adulthood - The locals loved him. His natural talent of earning the trust of anyone he'd interact with without a shred of conflict shocked some bystanders given the area he was raised in. Ronnie ran his own Doorman Security Company, passed down from his Uncle, Josh Lourbon in 1982.
What was not explained to Ronnie whilst the company was being handed over was that Uncle Lourbon had a history of connections with the famous British Kray twins. The knowledge he was provided caused a backlash in his natural behaviour, granting the man an abundance of stress and anti-social behaviour. He learned to adapt, however, eventually building a close relationship with the twins and being contracted with them as a private Security Industry should they be called to duty. The Krays often requested that Ronnie had his employers guard multiple boxes and crates of stock in storage units, sheds or factories until delivered appropriately. Only Ronnie would be told what was hidden in said crates.
Although his heart was kind to those on the outside; business in the 20th century inevitably corrupted Ronnie's mind - Teaching him the dark tactics of how business must be made, competing against rivalling companies and gangs proved to be a challenge for Ronnie. He naturally resorted to any tactic that would result in himself and his people remaining on top. His ideology remains the same to this very day.
Stuck in Chernarus.
As business continued, and obstacles were being overcome - Ronnie eventually came to a critical alert with one of his Security Escorts. An important package routed from South-West London was to be smuggled and shipped across the European seas, but was ransacked by a rivalling company. The stolen package allegedly belonged to the Kray Twins themselves, although they had passed at this timestamp; their belongings were owned and housed by their family and friends.
With the contents being of priceless value - Ronnie and his Organisation were to be held responsible for their failure. Resulting in a bounty set out for the Old man's head. Before they could have their hands about the his throat - Ronnie quickly grabbed his most valuable colleagues and fled the country. He rented out a series of Apartments in Chernogorsk for his men to maintain shelter in until the situation became resolved, however during the series of events - The Apocalypse arrived.
The soon-to-be retired Ronnie Norton and his men, now left stranded in the European wasteland. He is commonly portrayed to other survivors as a harmless old man. But is he?
