Nancy had just graduated college when she decided to tour Eastern Europe. She had put this plan off for years and wanted to do this before she got married and had a family and a career. Her dad taught her everything she knows about living off the land and following animal trail. She now recalls those skills in Chernarus, while ensuring the safety of others. Much of her time growing up she spent in the woods around south Texas. Hunting small boar and javelina. She eventually got into livestock and raising small animals for money, this actually helped her save up for the trip to Europe.
She started in the most basic of attraction, Big Bend, the Eiffel tower and eventually the Vatican. She loved all the sites. Meanwhile people were becoming panicked due to a strange illness going around. Before she was going to return to the states she wanted to tour Eastern Europe. Visiting Poland, Russia and the Czech Republic. She then heard of small country called Chernarus, she wanted to go and see what life was like after the war. She knew very little of lands in the area but fell in love with the scenery. She was taken away by the forest and openness of the country.
She would overstay her welcome when the outbreak occurred. She was in Elektro when it all went down. Nancy grabbed her pack and immediately attempted to leave by airplane, but by then it was too late traveling outside of the area was impossible. Nancy had to survive, so she went back to her hotel and remained there for some time. Eventually the city went quiet and then dark, power and communication with the outside world ceased and she was stranded in a foreign country with no way of getting back home. She could only hope that her family was alright and that she could one day return home.
Nancy now spends much of her time now moving into the countryside wanting to trade for any supplies and also medicine. She enjoys helping people and is always willing to put herself out so that people can have an easier life. She hunts and fish, so people can have food, she occasionally plants vegetable near water sources so people can eat. She hopes what she is doing is making people lives easier and giving them hope at the same time.
She tries to keep her faith in this strange land. Though she never practiced the faith when she was back home, here she has found religion. With her new faith in hand and her drive to help others Nancy is an easy going person and if the opportunity is there she will be more than happy to trade with anyone who is friendly, but she will “drop the hammer” as dad once said, on anyone who willing to take away from those that cannot fend for themselves and she believes that taking people out of the world who do harm is necessary for the world to get back on track.
