My name is Drago Vukota,I come from my home region of South Zagoria,Chernarus. I was born on June 24th, 1996. As a child the civil war took everything from me. My father joined the CDF forces and was killed in 2006, I don't remember much of him. My mother died shortly before the war ended due to being sick and weak cause of food shortages, I never got to learn much about my parents before they died. After the war ended i drifted between farmhand jobs to make a living till i became 18 in 2014. At this time i wanted to leave the country and join the Russian military and their fight in Ukraine. This was something i was not prepared for and the things i saw there and did will forever haunt me in my memories. I returned home to South Zagoria, in 2016 on a medical discharge. I applied for a few civilian jobs but the sounds at some of those jobs brought back feelings my memories of the war haunted me and i joined the CDF as what i thought my only escape was in January 2017, I was part of the deployed troops from Kirovograd base but as the situation worsened we lost all contact with the other bases and eventually HQ, slowly we all started losing morale as food and water became questionable, people began leaving and heading into rural towns and not returning. I decided not to sit around anymore and i was gonna fend for myself and take the risk alone.
