Michael Hoss was born in eastern Texas around the Dallas area in 1988. The son of a local police chief, Michael had a decent up bringing, the typical suburban life you would expect. Although getting in more mischief than the usual do to the fact his dad was police chief and he tended to get away with more things then your average teenager. Once becoming an adult though and the pressure from his father to join the force Michael decided to join the army to get away for a bit and get some experience for following in his fathers footsteps. Michael soon became quite a qualified marksman in his infantry unit and served two tours over sea's.
After returning home things did not plan out well, and his father soon passed. He did try to follow in his fathers footsteps though and joined the local police force for a few years but things just didn't seem to work out. Being pressured from a friend that worked for a private security firm and the enticement of money and traveling Michael soon took the offer. Landing a position in Chernarus as a adviser for and increasingly military presence that was absorbing the area. Thinking an easy posting at first things soon changed rapidly with the first visual contact with the infected. Law and order soon fell and as the company abandoned its contractors and even military units begin to lose communication with command.
With despair and collapse setting in, it was soon realized that staying around large population was near suicide and the best chance of survival was with small groups. With a handful of survivors, they began to do everything they could to survive in this new landscape. But little by little the group would dwindle down. Now at almost two years since the outbreak not one person remains of Michael's original group, he survives by whatever means he can. With not only the infected to worry about these days but bandits and cannibals as well, it is only a dark future that presents itself and survival is the only true goal. Wondering the land, cautious of everyone and there true nature. Nothing is certain.
