James "Tork" Anderson, Born in the USA and a former soldier stationed in Utes, retired and was working on a small farm in the town of Msta. Travel to Msta was relaxing for James; a short ride on his Enduro-Bike from Tulga with his Golden Retriever Zeus. James was always a drifter and kept to himself, never asking for much help or getting into a situation he couldn't handle alone. That changed with the outbreak, as friends he knew for years were either killed by the outbreak or the bombings meant to suppress the infected. During the evacuations, Zeus was separated from James, lost in the crowded lines at the Elektro checkpoint. James prayed that he would find his way into the camps, maybe wandering around looking for him, but he was never found. Loneliness isn't new to him, but not having Zeus with him haunted his dreams and kept him from sleeping well at night. That dog was everything to him. Weeks went by and James gave up hope. After a month of the inital outbreak, James left in search of his former residence in the rolling hills of Tulga. Hoping to find anything he could salvage he arrived at his house with no one there to greet him. The storms destroyed his house, and little was of use to him. Quietly looking around, all he found of value was a picture of Zeus, poorly taped to a scrap piece of paper inside of a frame. With a faded memory of the life he once had, James set out to find a new place he would call home.
