After completing his degree in Medicine at the University of Nottingham, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Laurence took his first post as a General Practitioner (GP Doctor) in Nottingham, England. Laurence became increasingly bored of the mundane, same day after day after day life he was faced with. Being a young, single and very handsome Doctor, he decided to seek pastures and opportunities new. You could say he wanted to spread his wings and go and gain some 'life experience'.
One of Laurence's ambitions after carving his path in Medicine, was to go into the military. However due to a previous shoulder injury from his rugby playing days - didn't work out for him. He therefore decided to try his luck and apply for a post working for a research company that specialised in pharmaceuticals and the development of new medicines.
It was Laurence's job to monitor and track the changes within test subjects and either the positive or negative reactions to the trial drugs and supplements. It was something that Laurence thoroughly enjoyed.
His supervisor, Dr Stuart Hamm knew about Laurence's aspiration and desire to gain some life experience. He knew that there was an opportunity coming for one of his team to go abroad as a party of 300 Doctors and Researchers to a place called Miroslavl in Chernarus.
Laurence, being grateful for the recommendation, flew out of the UK and arrived in Miroslavl a few days later.
It was then, he realised, this job was going to be much tougher than he expected but was certainly going to give him the life experienced he desired...
