Harald Kruth was born in Göteborg, Västra Götaland, Sweden. Born on the 11th of January 1998 to parents Irina and Sven. His father Sven was a officer in the Swedish Armed Forces and his mother was a nurse from Chernarus.
Harald had a normal childhood and upbringing but he was very close with his mother who often spoke of Chernarus to him, he even learnt small pieces of chernarussian from his mother. Harald’s father was a immense role model for him and always wanted to become a soldier like his father when he grew up.
After graduating upper primary school with great grades in nature, the 18 year old Harald pursued a military career. He got accepted to become a flygbasjägare and completed his training which lasted till he was almost 19. He worked in the military as a flagbasjägare for a while until he got the offer to become a military observer in a chernarus due to his mother’s roots but also because his expertise as a good soldier.
He traveled to Chernarus in late May meeting up with a small group of other observers all sent to Chernarus by Sweden to document and investigate both the CDF and the border against Russia unknown by both countries. Up until chaos ensued in Chernarus, Harald was investigating a supposed forgotten ChDKZ cell hiding near Berezino.
After chaos ensued, Harald fled into the wilderness from Berezino setting up a small camp in a forest near Khelm trying to contact other observers present in the country.
With the failure of contacting any other observers, he managed to snap up radio chatter from Sweden which has prompted him to start the long journey to get to Sweden. He has started gathering up supplies and is not letting anyone getting in his way of getting home.
To keep his foreign identity and nationality hidden he has assumed the russian name Taran but sometimes his accent makes it problematic to not seem foreign to other individuals.
