Michael was born in Dorset in 1992. The first part of Michael's life was difficult as he was dealing with a loss. At a young age, Michael was involved in a car accident. As a result of this, his mother was killed and Michael was severely injured. Since the accident, Michael has had a deformity in his left hand, leaving the muscle usage weak. He has also been left visually impaired in his left eye. Although he isn't completely blind in his left eye, he finds it difficult to see out of.
Michael's father was a farmer who was a hard working man. His farther also had a collection shotgun's for pest control for him to use around the farm. His father taught him how to shoot early on, teaching him how to properly handle and shoot shotguns and rifles. Nothing was too special about Michael's upbringing, he went to school and got good grades and then proceeded to university. After University, he landed a job working at his father's farm.
Coming up to Michael's 24th birthday, he and his friends planned to go on a huge trip to various countries. They planned to visit most of Europe, going country to country. Their first stop was France, and they passed through the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and into Finland. Once in Finland, they all decided to take a trip to St Petersburg. Once in Russia, they decided to keep going further and further, and before you know it they ended up leaving Russia and entering Chernarus.
This was the week the conflict picked back up with Russia. After the news of a storage container being bombed in Chernarus, Michael and his friends decided to leave and return home. It was deemed if conflict was rising between the nations, it wasn't safe to stay in Chernarus. When they tried to leave, they had their passports stripped from them and they were denied access. Michael became increasingly angry and he was detained by Chernarussian police at the airport. For two days he was kept in a holding cell. Unknown to Michael, an apocalypse was taking place and all of his friends who he was with were either dead or taken hostage.
After Michael was released from his holding cell, he was immediately taken to a refugee camp where other survivors were. Michael demanded to be told what was going on and where his friends were, but he was told to be quiet and wait. Once at the refugee camp, rumours of a virus outbreak spread like wild fire. Mass panic started to surface and the camp went chaotic.
Michael now finds himself alone in a foreign country with little means of survival.
