My character Joe Grey aka(smokey Joe) is a friendly farmer/hunter from Sacramento C.A. the son of a teacher Beth Grey and Farmer Arnold Grey that loves to give a helping hand when and where needed and is pretty good and building just about anything. Living on a farm taught Joe to live off the land by hunting and growing food for the family and thats a good thing because it would prepare him for what was coming next. The part Joe did for the family business was deliveries because of the heavy lifting and and long deliveries, while out on a regular delivery to a mountain town a couple hours away from his family farm Joes delivery truck blew a tire and forced him off the road
and into a tree where his truck was stuck and he was knocked out. When Joe came to with no one around for miles and not knowing how long he had been out he grabbed his belongings and started to walk the direction to the nearest town. As he was walking he could hear strange noises coming from the town ahead and as they started getting louder a military convoy came across Joe and to his suprise they surrounded hims with guns drawn, as Joe fell to his knees he could hear one soldier say "hes not one of them" immediately the soldiers helped Joe to his feet and told him to get in the truck. As they drove off further up into the hills they told Joe that everything was gone..... The zombies had got everything and and there was nothing left. They explained the dead had taken over and their only hope was to head to a helicopter that had been waiting at their base. As they came to the base Joe told the soldiers that he needed to check on his family and explained he would return if they could wait, the soldiers agreed that he could return but as he turned his back so did his chance of walking away from the base that cold day. Next thing Joe remembered was waking up on the helicopter with the soldiers screaming we are going down brace yourselfs............ he woke next to a empty helicopter in a place he had never been with no one around....whats next ?
