Born in the City of Johannesburg , Egoli , which translates directly from isiZulu to mean place of Gold. Born into a new dispensation for a possibility but Nathan's future did not shine like the City once did. Forced by circumstance and misfortune , living in depressing and challenging hardships from living a life of poverty and a naïve sense of the world. His innocence was taken away when he was robbed and humiliated by a group of cheats and thief's. Vowing revenge , He wandered aimlessly through life having a few mental breaks that could of easily gotten him institutionalized in a hell hole known as Valkenberg. Nathan tried a life of a Merchant Mariner to escape any trouble with the revenge he had casted on his would be attackers. He found solice on a Freight Ship crossing the great oceans learning basic life skills and few unorthodox ones too. Unfortunately again tragedy has struck as his ship had been struck by some sort of catastrophe , stranding the ship with no contact to the outside world. Supplies and food did not last long as infighting led to a mutiny and a great fire that engulfed the Freight Ship : Annabelle.

Nathan was forced onto a life raft where he drifted aimlessly through the oceans as the waves carried him like a piece of trash through the sea to places unknown , Places not of gold but of disease and survival.
