Timur was brought up into a Russian family in a small town called Gvozdno. His father grew hatred for Chernarussians, when his wife was raped and murdered by locals for being Russian, when Timur was only 5. From a young age, Timur and his older brother, Danil, were taught about communism, glorified by their father, who was a member of the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star. Local Chernarussians often abused both brothers, as they knew they were Ruskies and so they learned how to take care of themselves, their hatred to locals growing rapidly.
In the 2009 civil war, both, Timur and Danil, took up arms against the CDF, along with their father. However, while Timur and Danil were placed in the same platoon, their father was in a different one, and was last seen just before the attack on Elektrozvadosk in September 2009. Both brothers fought side by side throughout the war, even participating in the purge of the local Chernarussians. When US forces intervened and pushed Chedaki up north, Timur stuck close to his brother, who led both to safety.
After the apprehension of their leader, Gregori ‘Akula’ Lopotev, Timur’s platoon moved north of the province into the Black Mountains where they spent the following years surviving off the natural resources they could gather, or ambushing locals. While on a scouting assignment, Timur and Danil found a lonely man on a road and decided to take his belongings. The brothers sneaked up and ordered to put his hands up. The man just looked at Danil emotionless, and lunged at him, scratching him and biting him. Timur put multiple bullets into man until he went down. Danil, heavily injured, managed to get back to camp with the help of his brother, where he received medical treatment.
However, during the night, while sleeping, Timur heard screams, and awoke to chaos in the camp. Danil had attacked their fellow Chedaki members. Timur knew something wasn’t right and after learning that the rest of the survivors were bit, he took all he could and left the camp, knowing that he would be better by himself for now.
