""My momma always told me someday I'd be good at something. Who'd a guess that something would be killin people?""
Born in Anaconda, Montana, Lucian Bishop Walker spent most of his childhood in the isolated mountains of the North, often staying days in the forests and woods hunting and tracking. His father could be described as an honorable man who worked as an oil field worker, spending most of his time away from home to provide for his family. Despite his father rarely being around Lucian looked up to his old man for his strong character. But even with his pride, strict moral code, and honorable ways his father was still absent to guide him through most of his life. His mother tried to steer Lucian the right way but her efforts were in vain. Because he lacked a stern role-model and a person of guidance Lucian acted against society, constantly getting into fights and brawls in school. As the years went on, Lucian's father's health declined from breathing the air of the oil-fields. As Lucian reached his last year in high school his father was diagnosed with cancer and six months later passed away. After graduating, Lucian decided to enlist in the Army to run away from his sorrows. Even though he was a trouble-maker throughout school and ignored his studies he managed to score high enough to be a combat medic.
His time in the service took him far away from his problems at home. First being deployed in the hell-hole that was Somalia in 1993, Lucian saw more than a few friends die and become wounded in the conflict. Suffice to say when the conflict was over he left Somalia with a few wounds himself. As the years went on he began to have nightmares when he slept, eventually leading to a diagnosis of post traumatic stress disorder. After the Battle of Mogadishu, Lucian attempted to go to medical school but quit his studies after 9/11 to fight for the war on terrorism. After seeing the horrors in Somalia and the Middle East Lucian began to heavily question his involvement in the military. It was his opinions that would prove to be his downfall in the Army. During his time in Afghanistan he began to question a lieutenant, thinking that the orders were putting himself and his men in harms way in an unnecessary manner. The questioning led to an argument which then led to Lucian assaulting the officer. His actions resulted in him being dishonorably discharged. He was then court-martialed and sent to prison at Midwest Joint Regional Correctional Facility to serve a sentence of sixteen months.
When he was released he only had one hundred dollars to his name. Out of options, he spent the last of his money on a meal and a bus ticket home. When he reached Anaconda he hitch-hiked all the way North to his home town of Rexford. Unfortunately for him he found his mother ill, eventually she succumbed to a bought of phenomena. What little she had she left for him. The cabin, some religious jewelry, and his dad's old Harley motorcycle. With no one left in his life Lucian fueled up the motorcycle and went on a cocaine and whisky fueled trip across the West, taking odd jobs here and there, sometimes working on the oil fields his father once worked. The work was hard but paid well to keep up his lifestyle of high-end call girls, cocaine, and whisky. Eventually the fast paced life-style caught up to him and he suffered from a cocaine induced heart attack. Through his recovery he reflected on his life and his choices. He ended up giving up his way of life and took to the road as a commercial truck driver, hauling goods across the United States while dreaming of one day owning a bar.
While at a truck stop in Texas he overheard some chatter about a contract over overseas to drive for a company hauling construction supplies across Eastern Europe. Thinking of an easy and big payout to finally buy his bar, he ceased the opportunity and signed on. Some days later he was on a plane heading to Ukraine and from there he was hauling lumber to Chernarus. Just days after making the drop he found himself trapped in the country as a quarantine was placed.
