Erin enjoys company but she doesn't work well around too many people
She is quite cynical to others unless she knows them well or they have
proven themselves to people she does trust. She's optimistic about the future.
Her fiery nature stems from a need to feel accomplished, so
when she sets out on a task, she rarely gives up before completing it.
Other words to describe her:
Athletic | Intelligent | Responsible
Optimistic | Daring | Adventurous
Reckless | Arrogant | Uncooperative
Erin Stewart was born on April 9th, 1992 in Norfolk, Virginia. She was born into a Military Family. Her father was
a helicopter pilot for the US Navy and her mother worked as a nurse on the USNS Mercy during Operation Desert Shield
during the Gulf War. She went to school in Norfolk. She did well in elementary school. She had quite a few friends. In middle
school and high school she was a bit of an outcast. Once she hit puberty, she got teased regularly for her height and sexuality.
Her first girlfriend, Angela, gave her some of her confidence back but once she moved away, her grades started to fall again.
She graduated from secondary school with a C average. Knowing that she would have to go back to the university by the base with the
people that hated her, she decided to follow in her parents' footsteps and go straight into the United States Navy.
Final Selfie before basic training
Showing interest in becoming a Communications Information System Specialist, she was trained as a radiowoman.
She was a quick learner and outpaced many in her class. Showing promise to her higher-ups. She gained the rank of Lieutenant.
Having not gone to college for Mass Communications, she was given residency on the USS Firebolt (a cyclone-class patrol ship)
that was stationed in Little Creek between deployments. Once she proved herself on a smaller ship, she was
to be promoted to Lieutenant Commander and moved to a larger ship.
Her deployment began unspectacularly. The Firebolt was due for another round in the Persian Gulf. She was stationed in Naval
Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain, which was becoming the new base of command for most of the United States's naval operations in the
Gulf and the middle east as a whole. Then everything changed when she got word over the radio from the US Navy Vice Admiral. An
outbreak of some unknown infection had taken hold along the coast of the Black Sea and command of the vessel, along with two others,
had been given to the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
On vacation in Bahrain
After being refueled in Bahrain, the USS Firebolt was redeployed to help the UN establish a line of radio communications with the heavily
infected areas in the green sea during the first months of the outbreak. The Firebolt was a perfectly built ship for the task at hand.
Its short and shallow hull (while it couldn't withstand a missile impact) was efficient in fuel consumption. And its rigid-hulled inflatable
boats could be easily deployed as landing craft if the crew needed to go to shore. It was also well equipped for communication.
It had transmitters for HF, VHF and UHF radios, making it ideal for both short range and long range communcations. For about a year and a half,
the team worked well. Helping to relay crucial messages to the United Nations and World Health Organization. They even got to talk to their families
on occasion. Most of the Norfolk Naval Base had been cleared of the infected and kept surprisingly safe. De facto Navy admiral Kevin Donegan
(former commander of the NSA Bahrain) had maintained contact with the Firebolt until Late February. UN operations in the area had ceased for
the most part around that time as well. Supply ships, helping to maintain morale among the crewmen of the Firebolt had stopped almost completely.
While much of the crew wished to return home declaring their original mission failed. Erin maintained hope and decided to go inland with a transceiver to
find a way to maintain that crucial link keeping the world updated on the revelations in Novigrad, Miroslavl, Sochi, and beyond.
Erin was dropped off in South Zagoria on March 5th 2018.
