Chapter 1: The Beginning
Ever since Vladislav was a small child he had always loved the medical profession, after he had seen his fathers work, he became completely entranced with it. Most people who get interested in medicine are attracted to the idea of helping people, or the paycheck. Not Vladislav. He just wanted to know what it felt like to cut someone open. He had always been a strange child, and his parents were worried he would become a social outcast. He always acted abrasive and didn't seem to feel empathy toward others, but his parents loved him, as he was their child, and his father was happy that he wanted to take after him, as a doctor. Vladislav worked toward his goal of being a doctor and finally being able to act out his fantasies, from the day that he entered school he devoted himself to getting good grades, so that he could one day take part in the medical profession which is one that requires high marks, as his father explained to him. Throughout his school life he never really had any friends, he only pretended to smile, he only pretended to be nice. He learned soon after he started attending school that it was easier this way, and thus he put on an act for the world. Anyone who saw him would think he seemed like a regular person, nobody knew the monster behind the mask.
Through his diligent studies and his general intelligence, he was able to receive high marks in school, and after he finished High School, he went on to College, then Med School, both of which he finished with high honours, and at the age of 27 he received his doctorate, and from that moment forward he was "Dr.Vladislav Raginis", and he was hired by a local Hospital in Chernogorsk as a surgeon.
Chapter 2: The Beginning of the End.
Vladislav had been content with just feeling small pleasure from cutting people open on the operating table, but after a few years, he grew more and more dissatisfied with it. He felt that the fact that he was forced to put them back together after he was done was... restricting, then, on the 21st of October 2014, when the Chernarussian government declared martial law, he understood. This was the beginning of the End in most people's eyes, but not Vladislav. He was filled to the brim with excitement. "In this world... I can finally be myself." He thought to himself, as everyone around him was either panicking or devastated. The first thing he did upon hearing this news, was to make his way to gather as many medical supplies, and tools as he could, and make his way to a small cabin that his family had been using as a hunting lodge for years, where he thought he would be safe in the initial stages of panic and chaos following the declaration of martial law, which was indeed the case. The first day was chaotic while everyone either shuffled to get out of Chernogorsk or started looting stores and getting into occasional scuffles with other looters. On the second day, they came. The infection spread through Chernogorsk like wildfire, and Vladislav watched the wonderful horrors unfold through the eyes of his binoculars. He watched as the "wonderfully fascinating creatures" as he thought of them, tore through his city, eating anything that was still alive, and he relished in the chaos unfolding before his eyes. "Absolute chaos that denies any honour, friendship or heroism" as Vladislav had described it in his mind. Above all else, he felt an ever-growing excitement, he wanted to get out there and start doing what he would sooner come to refer to as "practising medicine", which to anyone else would seem like torture and murder.
Chapter 3: Vladislav the Mad Doctor
The cold winter wind howled through the woods and made raucous sounds as it passed, but that was not the only sound to be heard on this dark night, the chilling sounds of painful screaming were ripping through the air like thunder, as it did from time to time, in these woods.
"Now now, Mr.Brown... You mustn't be too loud... You'll disturb the neighbours. Oh wait..." Vladislav said in a soft, yet terrifying tone, after which he gave a shrewd chuckle.
"P-please... Let me go. I don't understand why you're doing this." responds the whimpering "patient", slightly stuttering.
"Mr.Brown... I'm merely performing... a "surgery", soon you will forget all about your troubles."
The rest of the conversation is cut short by the introduction of more horrid screaming and pleading, as The Mad Doctor practised his medicine on his new-found patient. In the end, all that was to be heard was a terrifying cackle, and then silence.
