Arthur Mccalin was a lively young man who enjoyed growing up in downtown London, attending school with good grades and making his mum proud. When he reached the age of 17 Arthur took up a deep interest within the study of photography. The beautiful scenery he had to capture around him catapulted him straight into a photography internship with National Geographic by the time he was 19. His first ever out of country trip he visited the beautiful land of New Zealand and went on multiple photography hikes throughout the country. This made Arthur realize how much he loved hiking in the wilderness and doing wilderness exploration. As soon as he returned from his trip he went on a vacation to Chernarus to explore the deep woods and tall mountains. Arthur enjoyed his fist couple days getting acquitted with the locals and finding his way around, but that all changed on his third day. Arthur had been staying in the grand Chernogorsk hotel when he started to hear loud screaming and general panic outside as well as in the rooms around his. He rushed to the elevator to find some other tourists who also had no clue what was going on and were heading down to the lobby to ask the front desk. The doors dinged open and everyone in the elevator screamed with terror within seconds of seeing the scene unfolding in the lobby. Security guards were holding the front doors closed against what looked like mutilated corpses, covered in dirt and blood. Arthur couldn't believe his eyes. It was like a scene ripped from any zombie horror film you watched as a child, hungry beasts clawing at the glass trying to get through. He pulled out his phone to try and contact authorities but was met with no service. Scared and alone Arthur bolted behind the front counter and hid in what he thought to be a mop closet. He sobbed quietly as he heard the front glass shatter and the remaining guests scream in horror as the mob pushed their way in, grabbing any stragglers who hadn't ran fast enough. He remained in this closet despite the horrible sounds of cracking bones and people begging for help, The horrible smell of dead flesh and blood making him want to vomit. After what seemed like an eternity in hell, Arthur decided it was quiet enough to look at the situation. He stepped out of the closet and over the front desk clerk who was sprawled across the floor in a pool of blood. He took a few steps forward only to turn around to the front desk clerk standing up growling like an animal. Arthur had seen the movies, and he was ready for the worst. He grabbed the nearest object, a desk lamp, and proceeded to smash the clerks head repeatedly until she stopped moving. Shaken, he continued onward outside to find the world left in an apocalypse like state. Surviving was his new life and he was ready for it.
