Excerpt From O'Neal's journal
We are arriving in Chernarus today. Don't have a damn idea whats going on over there but it seems to be nothing but hell and chaos. They didn't just send the Army this time, they sent the whole god damn NATO fleet. Our mission is simple on paper, or at least it should be from what they told us. Just secure and protect NATO bases spread around South Zagoria. I hope this blows over quickly and it's just another overreaction from the higher ups.
We were sent to reinforce a town called Chernogorsk. Seems like its having large riots and mad fighting in the streets. It all seemed to quiet down momentarily which gave me a chance to write. We are holding it down for now but I have a bad feeling this is gonna get much worse and it's not gonna be the quick vacation I expected.
City went to shit. Bombs were flying last night but i think its time to pack up and go. A lot of my men are starting to waver and i can hear them wanting to get themselves to safety.
We left the city.

It's been a long while. Figured i should write my last thoughts if things don't go my way soon. We have been roaming around hunting whatever we can and earlier today Mikey got shot from god knows where. He just passed a few minutes ago. I'm the last one left. I think i'm gonna head out on my own now.
I'm gonna try and meet some new people. I think i'm starting to lose my mind here. Running low an ammo for my handgun, my rifle broke a few months ago when i fell from a tree hiding from a horde of those things. I also need to go find some more hunting spots, but i think i heard some wolves howling in the distance. Guess i'm not sleeping tonight. I would barely even call what i've been doing living, its barely even surviving.
