James finally saved up after a few years enough money to help his mother afford a new home and a small bit of land, but a year later his mother fell Ill and eventually passed away.

When they buried his mother his older brother Alan had expressed to him how thing weren't going well with his wife and he planned to take some time away over seas.

When James found out about the things that where happening over seas he tried to find a way to bring Alan back home, but no one would help him.

He eventually found a man who would take Him to find his brother for a price, But upon arrival he was stripped of everything and left to the Walking dead.

Alone and abandoned James sought out to do the only thing he could think of, Find his brother.

James spent weeks looking and asking anyone he came across about his brother.

Eventually he found himself at an old castle in the woods on a mountain, People had set up and built amazing walls there.

When he mentioned his brothers name a few men stepped up, They had knew Alan, and with heavy hearts they told him of the last days and dearth of his brother.

James felt himself swallow his sorrow in that moment, Grief was replaced with a hatred and hunger for vengeance.

The people told him he was welcome to stay with them, and he did, he needed the help if he was going to find the ones responsible for his brothers death and kill them.
