Julius is a 32 year old professor in history from the university of Stockholm, and was tasked with having a workshop with several other professors from different nationalities. This workshop was centralized on helping the Chernarus board of education. During the time of his stay, Julius was aware of the political issues before leaving Sweden, but regarded this as an opportunity to help the department of education, and the pay was pretty heavy. This meant that he would leave his wife and kids for some time, and was reluctant at first. Although his wife managed to encourage him to go, for the pay, but also for the humanitarian work he would do for the future of Chernarus.
Fast forward to the outbreak, there was no way that he could get home anymore. Instead he focused on trying to help as many people as possible, staying in the city of Chernogorsk. Before going to university, Julius had reached the rank of Captain in the Swedish amphibious corps (Amfibiekåren, AMF) in the Swedish armed forces. This gave Julius a relatively good idea of how to communicate and affiliate himself with the US forces that landed in Chernogorsk. But alas, once the infected were coming for the city, he fled into the mountain of Pik Kozlova with numerous survivors. Once the he had helped the group up to the hill, they started to alienate him because of his poor Chernarussian and threatened him. Julius barely managed to escape with his life and is now trying to survive the now hellish world that had surrounded him. The only thing on his mind now are his kids and wife, constantly troubling his sleep and thoughts. What other can a man do, when he is certain of his doom, but to survive at all cost.
