Jonathan Sherherlis was born in in 1967 in a small sleepy town in the south west of England. For the early years of his life, he worked and studied in London. In 1987, at the age of 20, Jonathan enrolled into the British Army. Following his recruitment he was enlisted as a solider of the British Army who was a trained medic. during 1990-1991, as war broke out across the middle east, Jon's regiment was flown out to serve in Iraq. During his tour, Jon served as a trained medic to treat any injuries which occurred. After the Gulf war, Jonathan was sent back to England. In his later years, he turned his attention to medical research. As the year 2000 approached, Jon was a medical professional responsible for the development of pharmaceutical drugs used to combat common illnesses.
As an Army Veteran, Jon still remained with his military career working for the government manufacturing medicine. By the time 2005 had come, Jon was a Pharmacist working at a military base. During his work there, Jon was assigned to researching and gathering information about chemical warfare and the effects it has. As the Iraq war raged on, there were fears of Weapons of Mass destruction being stored, plus the use of chemical warfare.
In October of 2011, Jon was given an opportunity to visit Chernarus to work with medical researches from a developing country. As there was the remains of a civil war, it was in the best interest of Jon to visit to have a better understanding of topics first hand. Jon was positioned in the city of Primorsk. During his stay, ordinary work was carried out and connections were made between facilities in the UK and Chernarus. Jon would visit Chernarus throughout the upcoming years to aid in the progression of a recovering country.
As 2016 came to an end, Jon said goodbye to his family as he prepared to work abroad for the duration of 8 months with medical researches in Chernarus. Upon his arrival, he would be working between Novigrad and Primorsk. It was a dangerous time to be in Chernarus as tensions were still high between the Russian government.
Seven months into the trip things start to get accelerated. As news erupts of Russian fighter jets bombing an unknown storage unit in Severograd, locals become increasingly concerned. Jon is told by officials everything is fine and he can continue his work here without any problems. Jon decides to remain in Chernarus for the time. Days later, the nation goes into panic with multiple reports of attacks all across Chernarus from Russian forces. In retaliation Chernarussian jets raid Russian border posts. Jon is moved outside of the city to ensure safety.
Stories started to accumulate of post apocalyptic scenarios and locals panic. As days pass, Riots begin to break out with looters breaking into shops and stealing what they can. Violent gangs begin to form and start to terrorise locals. Meanwhile reports are broadcasted that there has been a virus outbreak at multiple facilitates in the northern areas.
It has been only five days since the commotion and masses of people are trying to flee the country. Jon is told to keep calm and that the government would soon have this all under control. He is kept from leaving Chernarus as he was told it is 'Not in his best interest'. Instead, Jon is again taken to another facility, this time being a refugee camp. Jon is taken here and told to stay put until officials can sort the situation out. This is Jon's story so far, he is currently trapped In a refugee camp with a lack of supplies.
