Christopher sees the world through the eyes of one who has known great pain and suffering but has not felt it. He follows his own code and his own rulebook, with little regard for other people and their agendas. He doesn’t care much for human life other than his own and looks on with little empathy as people die around him in this new deathly world. He cares for structure and laws as long as they aid him in his goals.
Christopher was from Los Angeles, a large city in the USA. He grew up in an ordinary middle-class family. From a young age he displayed characteristics unlike those around him. He was cold and calculated, only taking risks that promoted his own interests. He only helped those who would help in advancing his personal agenda. Christopher used society and laws to help elevate his status, by the age of 20 he had already made his fortune in real estate, amounting a net worth of approximately 5 million US dollars. His life choices had proved to be a great success.
On the eve of his 23th birthday he was walking down a quiet street in Downtown Los Angeles. It was here that his life would take a new, more destructive path. Spotting a lone man in front of him, a thought crossed his mind for a split second, but that length of time was enough. He felt his pocket-knife rubbing against his right leg as the idea came into his mind. What would it feel like to kill a man? Would he feel anything at all from the experience? Or would he be null and void of all emotion like in every other aspect of his life?
Christopher murdered the man, he sliced a piece of skin from the man’s face as a souvenir. A few months later there was a knock on his front door. Andrea, a woman he knew for a few months was standing at the door. Opening the door, he felt a slight electrifying moment of emotion as he seen her. This was what he liked the most about her. She was the only human who gave him any sort of emotion. It was a strange and distant experience. The emotion was so intense and Christopher savored the moment as he knew it would be short lived. The two of them discussed Christopher’s issues quite extensively. He felt like he could place some level of trust in her as she was the only one who could provide him with emotional comfort, however slight. One day he ended up telling her about the man that he killed a few months previous. His trust would end up been misplaced. Andrea ended up working for a Mexican Drug Cartel, they were trying to find the person responsible for the murder of one of their own in Downtown Los Angeles. Once she found out that Christopher was the man who murdered the Cartel member she reported it to her boss.
Christopher rarely speaks. He can speak but it causes him great pain to do so. Once the Cartel found out about his misdeeds they send a group of men to dish out the punishment. This is where he sustained the injury that causes him so much pain. It is also the start of his decent into depravity. They sliced his cheek tissue to the bone and cut of a portion of his lips off. This is why he wears a mask, to hide the terrible wounds that he sustained.
After this event, Christopher found himself in a dark place. He had horrible nightmares that occurred almost every night. Tiredness and emotional and physical trauma got the better of him. He was a broken man. His real estate investment failed and he lost most of his small fortune a year later. With his last savings he decided to move to a part of the world where no one would know him. He packed all his things and purchased a plane ticket to Chernarus, not knowing that he would never again return to the USA.
