In Taji's early life he lived a relatively normal life for a child in Africa. He attended their small schools and actually did quite well. But when he was 15 a Somalian warlord by the name of General Kereenyaga came into town demanding that the town supply his army with their kids to fight or the whole town would be burned to the ground. Taji tried to hide but of course he was found, there wasn't many ways to escape the Generals call. After being forced to join the warlord's army he was forced to do unspeakable things, but as his mind got more used to the horrible aspects of his new life his superiors noticed that He no longer hesitated when pulling the trigger. He started to rise in the ranks. Eventually he gained the trust of General Kereenyaga but Taji still held resentment for the General because he took him away from his family. One night Kereenyaga was entertaining himself with some of the women they captured from the recent village raid. Taji snuck into Kereenyaga's tent and slit his throat.
FLEEING THE COUNTRY
After escaping the dead general's camp Taji knew he had to get as far away from Somalia as possible, of course he considered the United States but the US would not grant him asylum due to his known association with war crimes.Eventually he found a gun smuggler who agreed to let him stow away on a ship that was on it's way to a country in the East. That's all Taji knew, but little did he know was that he was heading to a country called Chenarus which was about to explode into a civil war.
