Alan grew up in the surrounding valley area of Phoenix. He grew up in a modest home with good parents. Alan's older brother Scot had always looked out for him growing up. Being two years younger than Scot, Alan wanted to follow in his footsteps. Alan was a good student and maintained A's in school. He just wanted to get out of the desert and start his life. After Scot joined the marines, Alan was left by himself for the next 2 years while he finished high school. He wrote letters to Scot and kept in touch. Alan began to take an interest in serving in the military, as Scot was "getting to see the world" even if it was in Afghanistan.
After graduating high school at the top of his class, Alan chose to join the Air force and work intelligence. He was deployed two years to Afghanistan and was stationed at a FOB tracking leads from enemy intel. He dealt with a lot of classified information while enlisted. Towards the end of his deployment, he received the news of Scot being dishonorably discharged. Alan decided to not re-enlist at the request of his brother Scot who needed his help.
Alan had the difficult decision of helping his brother in a difficult situation or turning his back on him. Scot had hit rock bottom and began a life of crime. The only person he could trust was Alan. Together they began focusing on robbing banks. Alan used his networking and intelligence skills he learned to plan the missions. After a string of successful robberies they began to pick up heat from the FBI. They decided to move to Poland to look for work there.
In 2010 Alan was recruited by a man name Artur Grau to began planning a robbery in Warsaw. After the succesful robbery, He fled with Artur and the rest of the group east towards the Russia and Chernarus border to lay low. It soon turned into robbing anyone they could to make money and moved from place to place. Things were constantly changing for Alan. His life took a 180 degree turn because of his loyalty to family.
While out scouting for a potential heist, a war broke out. Confused, Alan stuck by Artur and his group to stay away from the commotion. Thousands of people were dying from the infection and at that point it didn't matter where the next heist was, or who his next target was. All that mattered was looking out for Scot and following Artur. Alan lost some associates he worked with due to the infection. Having a somewhat chaotic leader was going to prove a challenge at times but Alan was ready for whatever would unfold.
