Vashyn Pavlychko was born as an only child in the rural city of Stary Sobor on June 13th 1985. Vashyn’s Father was a farmer by trade and his stay at home mother a tailor on the side. Vashyn’s early childhood could be described as rather mundane and slow, as the small town of Stary Sobor was pretty quiet during his early childhood while the rivaling town of Novy had a bit more to offer. He worked in the fields to help his father as his health slowly declined over the years, eventually having to take over work on the small plot of land entirely as his father passed away on December 20th 2002. Struggling to uphold the land by himself he eventually threw the towel in and picked up hunting to support his mother and himself, often venturing down north to pick an easy kill or two to take back to the local butcher to not only feed himself and those he was looking out for, but to make ends meat at the end of the day, as meager as it was. His father left behind his worn Mosin 91/30 that had been in the family for over 12 years, to which he’d occasionally take him out hunting whenever the fields didn’t need tending to, which would explain as to why he was proficient in the skill. Vashyn continued hunting and did not really consider any other sort of further education into a better job. His Education very limited as he was schooled in a local schoolhouse until the age of 17 in Novy, not offering a whole lot in the ways of further advancement of knowledge. The only thing he was really comfortable with was his small town of Stary. He managed to continue with his Hunting and eventually became proficient at butchering until the Outbreak started. Vashyn ended up losing his mother in the panic and at this ended up retreating Northwest to the small coastal town of Berezhki, knowing it was rather secluded from the rest of Civilization and at the lesser end of the spectrum to the knowledge of other people who wished him harm and zombies. To this day Vashyn manages to trek around and manages to sell off some of the kill he was hunting for more comfort related objects, the pelts and bones he was getting for ammunition he ended up using and the meat for more expensive things such as small amounts of petrol which he uses for the small generator he has connected to the small house on the end of the village. Vashyn’s only real goal to this day is to continue trying to survive in the toxic environment his country has become, using his proficiency at hunting as a means to do so. He attempts to help those he can but steers clear out of trouble that can be avoided, as he isn’t necessarily a combatant, nor has former combatant training elsewhere.
This is where his story continues.
