Rusty Anderson is an American born hiking and outdoor enthusiast. He was raised in a small town in southern Virginia where he was became acquainted with his love of hunting, camping, and hiking. He would go and serve in the United States Navy as he wanted to explore and travel the world, however, he would only land a desk job out in a small Naval outpost in Alaska. There, when on leave, he would hike the outdoors and met several park ranger who thought had it all figured out. He would move back to Virginia to be a park ranger for the Shenandoah National Park. He loved it but wanted to see sceneries from other parts of the world. He had wanted to explore the Chernarus National Park because a few of his buddies had told him it was one of the amazing unknown hiking spots in the world. So he set out and made it to a little cabin he was staying in at Black Lake. He had heard some commotion about a local virus but didn't make much out of it as he would be secluded while hiking. After about a week hiking in the mountains in the north, he stopped at Nagornoe for provisions. However, he found a town in ruin with bodies laid out on the streets and creatures roaming mindlessly about. He found a few global newspapers that talked about a mysterious infection going around Chernarus. He finds himself trying to survive and look for others to this day.
