Ian Nathan, a survivalist trainer. He was born in Misawa Air Base Japan where his father met his mother. His mother was a marine working in Okinawa while his father was in the navy working out of the air base. He learned very quickly what it was to be disciplined lest he suffers the wrath of his strict father. Eventually, through his high school career, his father and mother would get divorced and he would choose to live with his mother. Shortly after high school, he would choose to follow in his parent's footsteps to an extent and begin his career in wilderness survival training. He deployed twice, once to Iraq, once to Afghanistan to teach selected PMC's how to survive in harsh environments if separated from their group. After his singular term of service, he became a Survival Instructor. He would often times find himself in the harsh wilderness of the most hostile terrain in the world just honing his abilities.
2017 Ian was in Russia training a class on survival techniques when the virus hit. Only a couple students of his class survived the initial wave of the infection. Lost and yet determined to survive he's been surviving for past two years in the wilderness. Staying away from human contact for the most part only stopping to trade, after much surveillance, with friendly passer Byers. To the forest, he frequently returns and stays until one day he found himself after wondering for a few months in chenarus in 2018. Up to the current date he's been seeking community to be a apart of.
