Jonah begin grew up in inner city Columbus, with his brother and both parents. Once Jonah had gotten just old enough to start running, his father bought him a small bmx bike that he would ride daily at the nearby inner-city skate park. Once Jonah got to the age of 15 his father passed away, and his life began to turn around. Jonah's grades started to drop, going from an A and B students, down to a D and C student. Jonah would also be introduced to drugs and alcohol around this age, and was constantly getting messed up whether it be high or drunk. After Jonah barely graduated, he decided that he wanted to take a trip with a few of his friends to Chernarus, after they had all seen a BMX edit of many crazy tricks done on the amazing street spots throughout the cities in the county. So, Jonah and 3 of his friends (Ben, Brock, and Josh) all went on there way with a one way ticket to the country, and enough money to get the group by in a hotel for a few weeks if need be. In there time there, they only had a few days to enjoy themselves because not long after, an extremist attack was maid on a chernorussian/russian wedding and violence swept over. Martial law took over and the group stayed locked in their hotel, at least until food started to dwindle. The group watched in terror as they began to see reports of people biting into livestock animals, and a new virus that had sprung up, taking peoples bodies over which would lead them to attack non-infected people. The group was in terror but had to leave the hotel to try to find food, and as they did, even as the constant rain of bombing in the distant and gunshots even closer, a group of savage people with guns looting held up the group, but instead of stopping they all split up, bullets flying past them, Jonah watched in the distance as Josh was shot and his other friends barely escaped. The thing was, Jonah didn't find his friends after, and he noticed these "infected" wandering the streets all over. Jonah knew it was over, the world where he could go ride his bike and live life was gone, it was survive, or death.
