The character I will be roleplaying as is named Malcom "Zero" Henderson. He is a 19 year old high schooler from the United States, and came to Chernarus on a school field trip to learn about the Civil War that took place there. He had a rough childhood due to his mother passing when he was about 14, and his dad turning into an abusive drunk. Malcom is extremely careful when entering into high-pressure situations, and tries to see all outcomes before trying to execute any plan. Before he came to Chernarus, Malcom was an exceptional student in his school. He was on track for his school's honor roll, before he got stuck there obviously, and everybody knew who he was, but that wasn't for his grades or how quiet he seemed to be. Outside of school Malcom was a completely different person. His dad never helped him with money, and could barely pay the bills due to him being a drunk. Malcom started selling drugs soon after his mother passed. He never wanted to start doing that, but he had to if he wanted to continue living under the roof he had, and if he wanted to eat dinner every night. He's no stranger to hunger. Selling drugs turned Malcom into a hard and cold-hearted person. Most people he sold to didn't even know his real name, they just called him Zero. He took on the nickname after watching the movie "Holes." He took the nickname because Hector "Zero" Zeroni never talked, and when he did, it was very little. Malcom trusts almost nobody after his mother passed, and the only people he did trust, were his close friends. When the infection first hit, all the students and teachers were in a bus heading to a big city Malcom didn't remember, when all of a sudden the driver swerved the bus off the road, and crashed it. The crash seriously injured most of the students, but killed most of the adults with them. After the accident, Malcom didn't remember much of why he was in the bus until a few minutes later. All of the students able to walk got out of the bus and looked at the wreckage. There was a man in the road where the bus swerved. He looked like military, but he looked like he's been dead for a long time. He was missing an arm and he was all decayed. Malcom didn't get too close, fearing whatever the hell the thing was, but the rest of the students stayed near the body, which was a mere 3 feet away from the bus wreckage. Malcom looked around for any signs of civilization, but didn't see any cars, or even any military checkpoints where the soldier would've came from. When he looked back at the bus, he noticed a small fire that started underneath the engine block of the vehicle. He looked over at the other students, who were now poking the body with sticks and messing with it, and pointed out the fire. They all ignored him and kept doing what they were doing. Malcom looked around once more, and looked back at the bus. As soon as he made eye contact with his friend, the bus suddenly exploded in a huge fire ball, lauching Malcom off of his feet, and into the middle of the road. Malcom then woke up a couple weeks later in that same area, but no sign of life around him. Everything was extremely quiet. He looked over at the bus, which was now a dark charcoal color, and notice corpses lining the pavement next to it, and all burned and dismembered in the bus. He panicked and ran to find help, which he is now looking for.
