Alan Dickerson was born in 1997 in Marion South Carolina. As a kid growing up in a small town in the country Alan had alot of from hunting squirrels with his .22 and racing bicycles down dirt country roads with his friends he had an active childhood and enjoyed being outside. As Alan grew into his teen years he dropped out of highschool and got a job helping Farmer Phelps fix his cropdusters. As Alan grew through his teen years and into and adult he took up smoking and drinking. He was never found without a pack of L&M Reds and a 6 pack of keystone light. Time passed as Alan moved from one mechanic job to the next eventually contracting with the Air Force on C-141 Starlifters. He worked this contract for some time but was laid off in 2006 when the plane was retired. At this point the planes were sold to the highest bidder which ended up being some huge international corporation. With their newly acquired fleet of cargo planes they needed mechanics and Alan was hired for this purpose. Alan was assigned Aircraft N5D248 which he traveled with wherever it flew keeping it in tip top shape. Alan was was with the plane hauling cattle out of chernarus when the outbreak struck and stranded him there.
